  6. Tamizushi says:

@fujitsi I think it has something to do with hight speed Internet becoming widespread about the same moment the game was released. Starcraft quickly became very popular because nothing better was available at the time and never really lost it popularity because Starcraft progamming is way to awesome and to lively to act like a fade. something like that.

  7. Tamizushi says:

@Ig0tFiSh point taken but it was still poorly formulated. This reportage was clearly not aimed to people interested by the game itself. the informations about the general phenomena are really interesting but when they talk about the game they sound so noobish.

  8. Ig0tFiSh says:

most matches are a best of series, meaning best of 3 or best of 5 or best of 7. this means they play at least a few games until it is decided who wins

I’ve Played so many old & current games from all genre but nothing is so much strategic as Starcraft, it’s been around more than a decade since it started. I salute to all gold medalist of SC in Korea. They’ve got the best pro-gamers is RTC games.

  16. fujitsi says:

I wonder why it’s only in korea that sc’s so popular

  17. Tamizushi says:

lol she said a game can last over 3 hours lol. men when is the last time a professional match lasted that long. its more 25 minutes average.

  18. Tamizushi says:

its more like protoss are strong but expensive. 1 zealot cost 100 M and for the zerglings its 2 for 50 M. but the main use for the zealot once a toss get higher tech is to absorb damage to protect the even more expensive hight tech units. the zergling are of course also use like that but less efficiently it’s more of an offensive unit, thats why they have the ultralisk C (cost 100 M 100 G but it get 100 HP vs zerglings 35 and a better armour.)

  19. TomValedro says:
