Search engine optimization which is procedure to make your website more likely for search engines. so how can it be done?

Seach engine optimization is based on few key factors like your website’s title, meta tags, content of your website and link building which is also called as backlinks.

Title of your website should be targeting your website’s main keyword / keyword phrase nearer to begining of your website’s title. If you want to add your website or company name then add it at the end of your website title. It is also often the first impression of the user of your site, which should give users a reason to click on your result. Words in your title tag will also appear in bold type if the user has included in his office so keywords high volume are a good place to start. It is generally recommended that its title is less than 100 characters, given that Google will display a maximum of 70 characters in a page of search results.

Meta description is what is usually seen in the search rankings, then the title. The best way to approach a meta description is to think that your website subtitle. Google recommends that should not be longer than 100 characters, while DMOZ (Open Directory Project web site) suggests no more than 25-30 words.  Finally, “Meta Keywords” are a list of words specific to your site, which are incorporated in the source code of your site.

However, search engines do not give weight to the terms listed here. Sometimes, including some misspellings can help give you an advantage in qualifying for the spelling mistake (if they are scheduled to run correctly spelled), but their main target words- key content that users see is the most important.

Content of your website should be very unique and it should target your keywords or keyword phrases. search engines like google does not like copied content so unique content creates a huge difference, so it is not false to say content is king.

Atlast talking about link building which plays most effective role to get high ranking in search engines like google. Getting higher rank in search engine means higher volume of traffic (more visitors) more traffic means an increase in sales opportunities. Taffic can be targeted to your website via two difference ways one is through paid advertising and second is through search engine optimization. But I will suggest you to use second method because studies has shown that customers are 5 times more interested to buy products and services of your company after finding your web site via Search Engine rather than online advertising.

So conclusion is that search engine optimization requires knowledge, experience and a bit of art. To maximize exposure of your site is important to devote time and effort to make your SEO correctly. Investing in a team of experts SEO can seem expensive, but the return on investment can be very useful.
