Objects on the Web: Designing, Building, and Deploying Object-Oriented Applications for the Web (Object Technology Series)

Object technology has become the technology for developing and delivering applications on the World Wide Web. Here is the hands-on guide that charts the full range of Web-application development, starting with the basics and proceeding through the complexities of distributing objects on the Web. Aimed at systems managers, systems designers, and application developers, Objects on the Web is your complete advisor on all aspects of Web-object technology. When object-oriented programming met the World Wide Web, it seems like the most notable result was a profusion of seemingly incomprehensible acronyms. Objects on the Web aims to help you sort it all out, providing an overview of CORBA, ActiveX, Java, JDBC, and more. While it claims to offer solutions for "designing, building, and deploying" Web applications, Objects on the Web is more suitable as a broad overview of Internet technologies than as a detailed guide to implementing any particular technologies. The book contains little source code and its only detailed tutorials focus on VisualWave, NetDynamics, and Orbix. Experienced Internet programmers probably won't find the depth they're looking for in this book, though the less Web-savvy may find the collected coverage of a broad range of topics--from HTML to CGI to security--a valuable high-level look at key concepts.

You can build the most beautiful place with the best products in the world but if nobody is able to find your site out of the millions of websites on the Internet, which are as good as nonexistent. What you need is to attract people to your website, whether the traffic to get free or pay through advertising. Any internet marketer should use a combination of both strategies. But I only focus on free traffic pulling powerful technique available called search engine optimization or simply SEO technology.

For anyone to search for information online, for most of the time would be through a search engine like Google, Yahoo or MSN. In fact, we expect that over 50% of your potential customers find this way. The only problem is that statistically, the surfers only bother to watch the search results 10-20 of hundreds of thousands of web sites that turn up in every search. Therefore, it is surely essential to get ranked in the top 20 to have even a chance of being struck.

So, how does the search engine decide how to rank websites is as follows: The search engines have € ™ â € ~ spiders that crawl the World Wide Web and index the millions web pages based on a complicated mathematical formula measures web content to the keyword searched and the most popular website, the higher your search ranking will appear. So to be taken in the top 20 in a search, there are three strategies you can use at the same time

Strategy 1:. Increase your link popularity Search engines measure your popularity WebsiteOS € ™ s based on the number of inbound links to your site called â € ~ Link Popularity € ™. That is, the more incoming links you have, the higher your link popularity and better your chances of getting top jobs. You can use a special tool linkpopularity.com to control the number of inbound links. One thing to take into account is that the site that links back to your website must be relevant to their sites. If not, you can be penalized mate search engines for that.

Strategy 2: Choose and Set strategically the best keywords The keywords are what search engine look for when ranking your website. The higher the density of the keyword used on websites, the more likely you are to get a higher rank. While you are building your website, you can place your most important keywords of your domain name, the title tags and throughout your sales copy.

The important keywords you have chosen to play a key role in positioning technology because there is a measurable indicator called SEO KEI indicator, which means â € œKeywords effectiveness indexA €?, Represent keywords with a combination of a high number of searches and a low amount of competing web sites. KEI will just as quickly identify the keywords that will give the best results.

One of my favorite SEO analyzer by far has to be WordTracker. You can register for a free trial of WordTracker, but is limited to 30 keywords and only a search engine in the test version should be more than enough for any novice user.

Once you are connected to Wordtracker I recommend using the “Keyword Universe” to brainstorm for keywords. Just type in keywords related to your area of interest in the left pane and then use the thesaurus to find related keywords and synonyms. Wordtracker returns 300 related keywords.

If you click on the keywords you are interested in one at a time you will see a list of searches that include your keyword phrase. Click on any keyword, Wordtracker returns 118 rows of keywords. If you like the look of the keywords that can only add to my virtual shopping basket and proceed to the choice of keywords you have over 100s of keywords and proceed to the third stage by clicking on “Analysis of Competition.”

In the analysis phase of the competition he will face a number of search engines, directories and pay per click engines to choose from. I normally tend to go only for Google, accounting for about 50% of all searches. Therefore, selecting the preferred directory search engine and click the continue button, wait for Wordtracker to return the competition analysis of Google.

The tabular display the first 100 keywords keyword selection before. The keywords are listed in order of KEI, and for each keyword that has the following information:

KEI – this is just a measure that helps you quickly identify the keywords that will give the best results. Keywords with high Keis are the best targets because they represent keywords with a combination of a high number of searches and a low amount of competing web sites.

Count – This is the number of times the word appeared in the Wordtracker database

24 hours – This is the expected amount of traffic on a single day, the only search engine (Google in my example)

Racing – This is the number of websites competing for that keyword phrase.

spend hours at least a few using Wordtracker, brainstorming, choosing keywords and analysis of results. Remember to save all your good keywords. And once you have your list of keywords to ensure that adding keywords to your WebsiteOS € ™ s page title, H1 and H2 tags, ALT image tags, keyword meta tags. Also be sure to include keywords in anchor text when linking to your site from another site.

Go through this exercise to choose the keywords each time you created a new website or create a new website will ensure that you have the best chance of getting targeted search engine traffic to your site.

Strategy 3: Submit your site to all search engines Once you have optimized your site using keywords and incoming links, your site will be indexed even faster if he will all possible search engines and directories. You can submit your site yourself, go to the home page search engine or using communications software WebPositionGold.com powerful as it will for you automatically.
